018 What catapults a human to where, nobody knows, at least in India!

Context: Internecine turmoil in the Premier Central Bureau of Investigation, popularly known as CBI, the Institution probably comparable to FBI in United States. The turmoil led to easing out of CBI's Director General Shri Alok Varma, and Special Director Shri Rakesh Asthana who made accusations against one another. the Special Director Shri Rakesh Asthana complained to the Central Vigilance Commission, Government of India, against Shri Alok Varma levelling allegations about his Corruption. Shri Alok Varma in turn ordered Investigations against the Special Director Shri Rakesh Asthana in respect of his alleged Corruption. Shri Rakesh Asthana belonged to Gujarat Cadre, and seems to enjoy the Confidence of the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. Interested Readers can have a look at all these mutual acriminations in all major News Websites, TV Channels, and Print News Papers of India. For interested Readers, here is one link: Click here to go to https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/alok-verma-vs-rakesh-asthana-how-it-all-started/articleshow/66341377.cms.

"....The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi late Tuesday night named joint director M. Nageswar Rao, a 1986-batch Odisha cadre IPS officer, as the interim director of the CBI with “immediate effect”. ..."

There seems to be allegations against Shri Mannem Nageswara Rao also, the new Interim Director

What Shri Prashanti Bhushan, Senior Advocate Supreme Court, has to say, as per his Twitter Message

Photo of the Trinity Shri Rakesh Asthana, Shri Prashant Bhushan and Shri Alok Varma, in the adjacent Tweet may be a photoshopped image. Anyway, it will not be material.

"Sacking and removal of CBI director is totally illegal. We will challenge it soon in Supreme Court. He has a fixed tenure and only the same committee that appointed him could remove him prematurely, if any disciplinary issues are found. The committee was to ensure that the position stays away from government powers."

"CVC has no authority to remove him. He cannot be removed in the matter he has been by the government. The special director Asthana is corrupt, facing serious cases, including corruption. Even the newly appointed director (Nageshwar Rao) is a corrupt individual."

ybrao-a-donkey's personal views , not intended to be imposed on others:
Prime Minister ought to have called for a Meeting of the entire Cabinet, discussed the matter threadbare, and got a resolution passed requesting for a Meeting of the High Power CBI Director Appointing Committee consisting of PM, CJI and the Opposition Leader, to select a New Permanent Director for CBI. This procedure would have been legitimate, and brought transparency into the Appointment.

The decision to appoint Shri Mannem Nageswara Rao, as Interim Director seems to have been taken in haste, without verifying if there are any serious allegations against him.
On Telugu Land, and obviously "Bharat bhUmi" nothing seems to move, without also taking into consideration, a caste factor.

Telugu Land Newspapers of Residual Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are ablaze and agog with the heighlighted heading "Telugu person as CBI Director". One Newspaper said 'manODE' = our man only. What, our man? Same Region? Same Sub Region ? Same District? Same Caste? Same Sub Caste? Media has to abandon these fallacious misconceptions. "Telugu tEjam" = Telugu Areole of Radiance has become a cliched heading for all Media from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Language is just a "Means of Communication",a sort of Technical Code. There is nothing National or Patriotic, or "belonging" about it. These are also delusions and illusions.

Incidentally, it may be observed that the CVC Shri K.V. Chowdary and Shri Mannem Nageswara Rao, belong to the same Caste.

One News paper reported: Shri Nageswara Rao was taken into CBI from Orissa, in spite of allegations against him, and objections from the present-exiting-Director Shri Alok Varma. According to them, Shri Nageswara Rao was inducted into the CBI, at the instance of a the-then Powerful Central Cabinet Minister, without naming the Minister's Name. When full details are not disclosed by Media, sometimes, people may have to infer. Does the Minister also belong to the same Caste?

Incomplete. To continue adding / deleting / modifying.
