017 In the Fraternal Feuds between Mukhesh Ambani and Anil Ambani, Congress seems to be siding with Shri Mukhesh, and BJP with Shri Anil.

In respect of the Controversial Multi Billion Dollar Rafale Indo-French Fighter Aircraft Deal, the Ruling Party BJP seems to be siding with the younger Brother and Industrialist Shri Anil Ambani, while the Opposition Party Congress seems to be siding with his elder Brother Mukhesh Ambani. Proof: After French Former President Mr. Hollande disclosed a few days back to French Media-- MediaPart, that the selection of Reliance Defence as Interlocutor for the French Aircraft Seller Dassault, was made by the Indian Government, the Issue has become murkier. Defending his Party and the Government, Mr. Ravi Shankar Prasad, India's Law Minister, and Ms. Nirmala Sitaraman, India's Defence Minister, appear to be trying to prove that there was a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which existed in 2013 itself between the UPA-2 Government and the Reliance i.e. 1 year 4 months before BJP came into power.

The Reliance Industries of 2013 and the Reliance of 2015 are different

The Reliance Industries of 2013 related to Mukhesh Ambani, the elder son of Late Dhirubai Ambani. The 2015 Reliance Defence relates to Anil Ambani, the younger son. They may be having alternating cold wars and superficial amicable relationships, as is common among Indian Siblings, right from the days of Vyasa mahAbharata and Valmiki Ramayana.

This News starts with the lines:
13th Feb. 2012.
MUMBAI: Reliance Industries and France’s Dassault Aviation have signed a pact for partnering in the defence and homeland security sector in Asia’s third-largest economy, a spokesman for Reliance said on Sunday.

The accord comes less than two weeks after Dassault’s Rafale warplanes emerged as the preferred bidder in a $15 billion contest to supply India with 126 fighter jets. India is the world’s largest arms importer with plans to spend $100 billion on weapons over the next decade.

Reliance Industries, India’s most-valuable company, did not give any further detail on the tie-up with the French company. Reliance Industries has been looking to diversify as growth in its core oil and gas business slows.

The above is an Information provided by a Spokesman of Reliance. It is only a claim, by Reliance Industries of Mukhesh Ambani.

What is not clear is, while inviting bids, whether the 2012-13 UPA Government has included in the Invitation for Bids, a term that India's Public Sector Aircraft Maker Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. will be the India's Service Point and the Special Purpose Vehicle for the Rafale Aircraft.

Had this point been made clear, Reliance Industries, Mahindra, etc. etc. (Indian Manufacturing Companies) would have become Ancillary Suppliers to HAL, dealing with the French Dassault only through HAL.

As soon as Dassault has emerged as Preferred Bidder, Dassault seems to have started searching for Indian Contractors who can be entrusted with ancillary and supporting work. Reliance of Mukhesh seems to have seized the opportunity to and entered into a pact with Dassault to capture some business. Whether this had the approval of the GOI of India or not, is a point to be disclosed by the Spokes persons of Government of India. Did the UPA-2 Govt. of 2012-13 ignore HAL at the very beginning, or dropped it in the middle, is to be clarified by Messrs. Ravi Shankar Prasad and Nirmala Sita Raman. If UPA-2 has encouraged Mukhesh's Reliance at the cost of Public Sector Giant HAL, at whose instance it was done? This, the trio of ANR (Arun Jaitley, Nirmala Sitaraman and Ravi Shankar Prasad) has to enlighten.

Ignoring Indian Public Sector's Capabilities and catering to the Needs of Corporates is a Common Trait of both NDA and UPA

Like Computer Programs and Objects, NEGATIVE characteristics and features are inherited. If Shri Narendra Modi and his fellow-Ministers are really keen that Make-in-India is to be truly successful, what is the need to substitute one Ambani (Mukhesh) with another Ambani (Anil)? The Narendra Modi and his Team ought to have prevailed on the French Government and the Dassault to deal only with Government of India, and HAL. That they have not done. BJP sided with Anil, and Congress sided with Mukhesh.

So what is the lesson? If Congress wanted to collect donations from Reliance of Mukhesh, BJP seems to have tried to collect donations from Anil Ambani.

Betwen the two Ambanis who is better?

Ans: Mr. Mukhesh Ambani's Reliance is accused of stealing crude oil from adjacent wells owned by ONGC. Both the UPA and the NDA have so far failed to resolve this Issue. Shri Anil Ambani's Corporates seem to be drifting towards bankruptcy, for which Time seems to be the best Healer. Hence, what is there to choose between them?

What Mr. Manmohan Singh and Mr. Narendra Modi, have to clarify is: What is wrong with HAL? On what basis they have come to a conclusion, that HAL will not be able to make RAFALE Aircraft in India?

Incomplete. More information is to be collected, to present a clearer picture.
